Explore More About Doha:

Doha is the capital and most populous city of Qatar. It has a population of 2,382,000. The city is located on the coast of the Persian Gulf in the east of the country, north of Al Wakrah and south of Al Khor. There are following some best places to visit in Doha that you will never be going to be miss on your Doha visit:

Museum Of Islamic Art

Showing Islamic art from three continents. The Museum Of Islamic Art is the best way to tell the people of the world about the great work done by Muslims in the past. This museum has artworks from three different continents. Though it is not a religious institute, it still has a separate room for prayers for its Muslim visitors.

Souq Waqif

Shops, restaurants, and cafes in one area is a perfect place to go with family. Souq Waqif is the oldest and one of the few buildings constructed to show the old Qatari village style. It is the best place to go to with family as it provides shops, restaurants, and cafes in one place.

Doha Corniche

Water on one side and the street on the other side remind me of Mumbai's Marine Drive. This Corniche was constructed to reach from one end of the city to the other. Connecting Doha's emerging West Bay district to the south city with Doha International airport, this corniche runs right next to Corniche street. This Corniche now has a view of plenty of skyscrapers. It is ideal to walk either early morning or late evening as it is just a lane.

National Museum of Qatar

Spread over 1.5 km, the National Museum of Qatar gives voice to Qatar’s unique history and its people from the earliest of times to the present day. Designed by award-winning architect, Jean Nouvel, the museum is experiential and immersive and organized into three chapters in Qatar. Beginnings, Life in Qatar and the Modern History of Qatar are each presented across 11 separate galleries. There are cafes and gift shops open for getting a bite or a souvenir.

The Pearl Qatar

The Pearl - Qatar is a man-made island off the coast of Qatar featuring Mediterranean style marinas, residential towers and homes, internationally renowned hotels, private villas and premium shopping experience at top branded boutiques and showrooms. The Pearl - Qatar is also a popular dining spot among the people because of the amazing food and ambience it serves with dozens of restaurants, waterfront lined cafes from all over the world.
